Welcome Friends!

Welcome friends and family! This blog is where I will update weekly with Gracee's emails and pics from the mission. You can email her directly back at Gracee.Broadbent@missionary.org For the past two weeks, we have enjoyed having Gracee here at home for home MTC. This coming Wednesday we will drop her off at the Provo MTC, where she will reside for another 4 weeks perfecting her Spanish and then she will head out for Riverside California at the end of November. Thanks for all of your love and support! Here is her first official email as a missionary...

2 weeks of home done ✅
 ¡Hola mis amigos!
Soo for starters…. I love being a missionary, buuuut I’m sick of looking at a screen for 7 hours a day haha! At least it’s pretty much over now. I start Provo MTC on Wednesday and I’m soooo excited! I have a small district, there’s only 8 of us but I LOVE IT! We are small and mighty!  They have taught me so much and I love each of them. I also have 2 COMPANIONS which honestly has been so so fun, they are awesome! I definitely got lucky, and I even got to meet them, we got to go to the temple and get waffles last p-day so you know it was kinda the best day! I have learned so much in just a short time as a missionary, and I’m so excited to get to riverside (eventually) woot woot! 3 things I’ve learned that I'd like to share - don’t worry I’ll keep it short… 1. our purpose as disciples of Christ is to invite and help, gods purpose is to help them come and receive him. 2. learning a language is hard… but the spirit and the gift of tongues is REAL! definitely doesn’t mean I’m pro at Spanish though I’m probably sitting at a 4/10 with my Español! 3. the answer is ALWAYS Jesus! Really and truly, it is, I learned that from an amazing seminary teacher (shout out to Bro. Matson) but it has been emphasized a lot in the MTC. Anyways kinda a short email cuz not a lot can happen when you just sit on a comfy chair looking at a computer haha hopefully things will get more interesting in the actual MTC! Love you all so so much! The answer is always Jesus Christ! Hermana Broadbent pics below of my cute companions, crazy sisters, and fam bam hehe!

The hardest thing I've ever loved to do

God is a loving Heavenly Father. The first principle we teach as missionaries.  A simple statement, but one that has changed my life.  God...
