When you're in the state that is voted the hottest state in the country this Christmas....

 Feliz Navidad!!

Yep so, we had a chilly Christmas here in Hemet California at a freezing cold 80 degrees... besides that, it's been a crazy but fun week! And to start it all off, I got to go to the Redlands temple! It was literally so amazing, and I feel very blessed to have been able to go my first transfer! SPEND TIME IN THE TEMPLE!
Food
We ate literally so much food this week wow! On Christmas eve, we had 3 dinners yes 3. I thought I might die but tamales make it worth it! We also got to try some new things, pupusas, ponche, and an El Salvadoran dish that was literally sooo good! I'm blessed to get fed by so many, but wow pray for my stomach the next 16 months!
Milagros!
Ok so this is pretty dang cool. Hermana Haws and I were out doing a stop by in a trailer park. He wasn't home, depressing. Buttt as we were walking out, we ran into a NEW FRIEND, Ricardo! He was so so nice and wanted to know more about Jesus Christ! The problem is, he lives in Beaumont which is out of our mission buttt we invited him to church and gave him a BOM so mission accomplished and he's gonna drive out here and try to go to church with us for the first time! So cool!
Christmas shenanigans
We've been able to do lots of fun things this Christmas! Like go caroling and bring cookies to friends! It's been so fun, and I just absolutely love the spirit of Christmas and being able to talk about the reason for the season, Jesus Christ, to everyone I meet! We also were able to do a white elephant party at Presidents house which was so so fun! I got playdough and a kid's bouncy ball so that's kinda legendary!
Christmas day
Christmas day was amazing and chaotic all at the same time! Us missionaries had to put the Sunday sacrament Christmas service together, I think it's safe to say we had a lottt of faith that every one of our friends and members would be able to be there. They didn't show up. But hey I got to use my broken Spanish a lot over the pulpit #SCARY!
After that, we were able to visit more friends and ward members which was so fun! And to finish it all off, we all took melatonin and crashed at 10.
I hope you keep Christ as the reason for every season! He needs to be the center of our lives always!
Love you all so so much!
God is so good!

K but did THE PROPHET email your mission pres about your mission?

Yep, you heard it here. The Prophet emailed my mission pres about how amazing my mission is, so you know that's kinda a flex. Pic below😎

Wow what a week. This week I've come to realize that God works in mysterious ways. For example, me and Hermana Haws were doing our daily comp study when her phone rang, we didn't know the number but since it wasn't spam of course we answered!! And who was on the other side of the phone? Our new friend Laschele. She had found us through pastor Ray and Jackie so idk how that happened but shout out to pastor Ray and Jackie whoever they may be! Ok anyways so Laschele calls us and says she wants a Book of Mormon and a missionary visit so of course we agree but crazy twist, Laschele is in the hospital dealing with some things, buttttt it don't matter, we went to the Hemet hospital (low-key so sketch) anyways we went to the hospital and got to meet and share a message with Laschele and the next day we were able to have a pass off lesson because she speaks English only but still sooo cool! God works in mysterious ways using pastor Ray haha!
Español
My spanish is getting sooo much better!! Still slow but so much better! I've been able to really rely on the spirit. I even have the first vision memorized in spanish now wooot wooot!!
Milagros!
So many milagros this week it's insane!! But the best ever was that Hermana Haws and I had 4 OF OUR NEW FRIENDS AT CHURCH!! AHHHH IT WAS AMAZING! It's a record now in our ward!! I couldn't stop smiling and the spirit was just so strong for the rest of the day!! Another miracle would be our friend Adriana who is the one that's getting baptized, Satan is trying really hard and Adriana decided she wants to get baptized on her bday in May... so that's been a working progress but when she told us that, we were teaching the restoration which it was my first time teaching it in spanish and the spirit just poured out of my mouth the first vision and I could tell she felt the spirit! It was so cool! And now she's praying to know if she's ready to be baptized in Jan so prayers up!!
This week really taught me that God works in mysterious but super cool ways. And I'm so grateful to have witnessed many amazing Miracles! But as Christmas is getting closer, I've really been thinking about the greatest miracle of all, Jesus Christ. HE IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON. But should always be the reason for every season. I invite you to keep our loving Savior in your heart and at the center of your life throughout the whole year!
I love you all!
Feliz Navidad!

Ayo Hermana B is back

 Hola!!

Ok to start off I gotta tell yall about a little story. Last night we were in the car coming home and then my presh comp out of pocket goes "oh he's kinda cute" talking about this guy in this truck next to us and we'll all look over and this BRUH IS A KNUCKLE DEEP UP HIS NOSE! AHAHAHA FUNNIEST THING

EVER! Hermana Haws goes "ah noo nevermind he's not!!" Anyways so ya kinda fun

Español
My Español is getting a lot better but is still taking its sweet time lol. I'm trying really hard to be patient ah pray I will be more patient hahaha! Besides that, I've been able to talk to people in my awesome ward and keep the convo going. Entonces mi Español es más o menos.

Milagros (miracles)
Ok so our sweet friend Adriana who wanted to get baptized in March told us that she has felt so much joy coming to know the savior and this beautiful gospel, and she wants to get baptized the first week in January!! AHHH I LITERALLY CRIED IM SO HAPPY!!! She is the most incredible person I've ever met; her testimony is inspiring, and I know that this work is so important and beautiful. Another miracle is this amazing woman named Hermana Dios. She is in our ward, and I got to meet her yesterday, she kissed my hand and told me that the work I was doing was so amazing. She talked about how sister missionaries helped her be converted. Right when she said that I felt this overwhelming spirit come over me and just knew I was exactly where I needed to be. I hope all of my missionary friends out there and soon to be missionaries know that you are exactly where you're supposed to be doing the most important work!

Christmas!
We're still sharing light the world! I invite you all to share your light. And remember why we celebrate this Christmas season, because of Jesus Christ. He is and should always be the center of our lives.

I love this gospel. I love my Savior! I love you all!! Have a great week!
Feliz Navidad!

HEMET IS HEAVEN

 HOLA!!!

WOW k sorry in advance but this email might be a bit longer...
I MADE IT TO CALI
ok first things first, waking up at 3 in the morning sucks but I'm so glad I did cuz now I'm here in the best place ever. Little background on Hemet (which is where my first area is) it is the sketchiest place I will be on my mission. But I literally love it so much already and don't worry, I have pepper spray. Um so this week was a lot of orientation stuff, but it's been so good! Also, shoutout to my sweet trainer Hermana Haws for being the amazing human she is!!
Language
Ok so I actually understand a lot more than I thought I would, and I've been able to share a lot in lessons and at church. BTW church in Spanish is so fun! I've been able to say long meaningful prayers in Spanish and have been able to hold convos and testify so that's kinda cool 😎 buttt I'm definitely far from fluent hahaha! Also, nobody here can pronounce my name, so I now go by hermana b and I kinda really love it hehe!
Amigos!!
I have met so many new friends (we don't call them investigators anymore just fwi) anyways and they are awesome! I've been able to teach the sweetest family this week and we are hoping for them to get baptized in Jan or Feb! Also, I was able to attend a relief society meeting last Friday night and I met so many amazing ladies and abuelitas omg they are so cute! I get a hug and a kiss on the cheek each time I see them, and I just love it. Also, during this little relief society party, we got to talk to our new friend who came!!! Prior to me coming, this sweet lady has been taught and she's been attending things and is making new friends! She says she wants to be baptized in March but we're hoping her desire and the holy ghost make that sooner cuz she's so amazing and so ready ah I just love her!!
Miracles upon miracles
1. Me and Hermana Haws were out seeking with faith aka tracting and the lady we were going to visit wasn't home which was kinda sucky butttt after me and my sweet comp felt a little inkling from the spirit to go across the street and Knock this house. THE SPIRIT IS THE BEST and we made a new friend who we are now teaching, and she just is so sweet and amazing!
2. The second miracle is a little tender but bear with me, so some of you may know or may not but I found out this morning that I lost a good friend due to an accident. Waking up to this I couldn't help but just cry and I felt so numb and sad. He was such an amazing person!!! I was in complete shock, and we decided to kneel and pray. I felt a little better and knew I had to continue my day, so we went to the store. As we were going to get my Dr. Pepper, yes, my Dr pepper, we ran into this sweet lady who wasn't a member but knew the missionaries. I asked her if she was excited for Christmas and she said no because she lost her nephew not too long ago and didn't know if she'd be able to feel joy but she also went on to say that she was happy that her nephew was able to skateboard in heaven without any issues and It took all of me to hold in the tears. She asked if we could visit her, and we of course said yes. After she walked away, I broke down in tears in Walmart lol because I knew that that was the spirit, and that God really does know me and my needs. And I testify that that is so true! HE KNOWS YOU! Cindy is my miracle.
Light the World!!
We have been inviting so many friends to do light the world and it's been such a testimony builder!! I invite you all if you haven't already to participate in light the world! It really is an amazing way to share the Saviors light by serving those around us just like he did!
I love you all! Recognize the miracles around you because they are everywhere!
God is so good!!
