Keep your doors locked 👀

Hola todos!! Ok so basically God is so good. We almost got our car broken into this week.... and there was somebody near our apartment in our complex breaking into an apartment so yikes.. God protects! Ok so backstory, my comp and I were early to dinner, so we parked and were doing some Facebook work in the car when my comp grabs my arm and just looks at me and me being oblivious looks at the sunset and I'm like ya it's so pretty when I turn my head a little and realize there is a guy in a black hoodie standing right outside our car. He starts screaming and pounding on our window we were freaking out when the Elders came in clutch! I saw them in the side mirror running up and they are both really tall and it was not super light outside so the guy got scared and ran. It was really scary! But it's all okay! My comp told me she had a prompting to lock the doors like 1 minute before he came so GOD PROTECTS!! we just need to be sensative to the spirit. Anywhoooo moving on.

Language!
I'm fluent! Jokes jokes! I'm not but I've been praying so hard for the help of the gift of tongues and this week it's really shown. I love speaking Spanish! It's so hard and so fun at the same time!
Baptism!
Ok soooo Sebastian is supposed to be getting baptized this Friday so PLEASE PRAY FOR HIM! We are super excited and so is he!
Moderation.
Something someone really cool told me once ;) that "there is moderation in all things" and I was reminded of that this week a lot. Moderation is another word for self-mastery and temperance. And a scripture I love that has to do with this is in Philippians 4:5-7 and it reads "5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."
I invite you all to ponder these things and let me know what ya think if ya really want!
Miracle!
Woah now this miracle is SICK! So, we were out knocking one day when I see this guy by his truck and he kinda looks at us for a minute and then waves so well yk I wave back and ask God for courage and walk straight up to him, my comp didn't really even know about this but kinda jogged quickly after me oops. And we met Aurelio! He was so cool! We gave him a Libro de Mormón and shared our testimonies of how it has blessed us! He was super interested! Woot woot! And after this sick miracle we kept walking when we met this guy under his truck and he said hi and got his wife, she invited us in and we taught 6 girls all over the age of 8 the whole Gospel of Jesus Christ lesson! Ugh SO COOL! I KNOW that there are miracles out there!
God is so very good!
Jesus Christ is love!

99% grind 1% find and pancakes?

This week has been such a grind week! We started the week off with all of our lesson cancelled which was such an L. But also, it's okay cuz we got to go knock a ton! Andddd side note, instead of mexican food, we had pancakes for dinner! It was so fun! I felt very at home!

Knock knock
We started knocking some doors when a lady walking her dog passed us and then stopped and said "hey! Do yall wanna pray right now?" She was very much in another world if ya know what I mean but hey we're always down to pray and invite to Christ. She prayed and gave us both huge hugs and then ran away before we could say anything else 🤷🏼‍♀️
Hemet is heaven.
Milagro!
After just about giving up one day as we were tracking my companion decided to knock this last house. And there we found Tameka! She is the sweetest mama! We introduced ourselves and she said she actually was thinking that morning (which was Saturday) about driving around until she found a church on Sunday! She said "That's kinda interesting how you showed up! What time is your church?" Um ya jaw DROPPED. Tameka is prepared! She speaks English so we were worried we'd have to pass her off to the elders in her area but turns out she wants sisters and there are no sisters in her area hehe sorry elders but woot woot! We are so excited! I have a strong testimony of fourth floor last door! Miracles are out there! There are prepared people!
Zone conference!
This zone conference was incredible! My mission President is awesome and knows a lot about the translation of the Book of Mormon! With this I have been able to testify of the Book of Mormon a LOT this week! Before I even knew that President Watson would talk about it! In Ether 3 near the end, it talks a little bit about the translation and it's SO COOL! Go give her a read. I KNOW without a shadow of a doubt that the Book of Mormon is true, and that Joseph Smith was a Prophet. I know we have the fulness of the gospel on earth today and we can find so much joy through it! I know Jesus Christ lives!
Random fact- Hemet actually means heaven in the Native American language here. Bruhh I literally am in heaven! So cool! Anyways love you all! Nos vemos!

Traded the sandals for the muckboots

Hola todos! Sooo ya anotha week in Hemet!

Amigos!
Our amigos are being tuff right now but that's okay! Happens.... we had some fire lessons, and I was able to Español a lot this week which was very much appreciated! Our friend Manuel who I found in the tree is progressing so much!!! He's on Baptismal date for April 8 but we might move it back a lil! Pray for Manuel! Basically, we just are trying to get our friends to church.
Anza/Idyllwild
Ok yall so I got to go on an overnight exchange this week up in Anza! It was sooo fun! It's about 50 minutes away in the mountains from Hemet and the sisters up there live in a mobile home which was actually really cute! I got to trio it up! We woke up and i traded my sandals for my muckboots to go to this ranch and feed and brush some horses that are owned by some recent converts! It was so so fun! I think I wanna be a cowgirl? Idyllwild is beautiful and we basically did service all day for our finding! I got to learn how to find in different ways up there and break my routine which was really needed so I'm so grateful! Also, I think I want a cabin in Idyllwild or somethin.
Milagros!
Wow we had a really cool miracle with our new friend Carlos!! He is a friend of our other friend, Mimi! We went over to Mimis the other day and she wouldn't answer the door or her phone, so we got in the car and didn't know what to do until Carlos showed up! We've talked to Carlos on Mimis phone before, but this was the first time we got to meet him in person! He calls me BB and as soon as he saw me, he pointed and said "Bb?" I said "Si!" And this bruh came in for the biggest hug of my life lol! Once that was over... we went to knock Mimis house with Carlos and since she wasn't home, we felt prompted to teach Carlos! So, we did! We talked on Mimis porch lol in the rain and shared the Restoration with him! After I asked him how he felt about prophets and the BOM and he said, "I know this is true the BOM is true, and prophets are real" BROOOO IT WAS SO COOL! Carlos is prepared! I walked away with a strong testimony that there is no such thing as consequences! When we are obedient, we are in the right places at the right time and God can work those miracles!
Spiritual note!
I've been studying humility a lot this transfer and this quote came to me during my personal study! It's from Elder Uchtdorf and he says "We don't discover humility by thinking less of ourselves; we discover humility by thinking less about ourselves. It comes as we go about our work with an attitude of serving God and our fellowman!" I testify of the words of Elder Uchtdorf! Also go listen to "Pride and the Priesthood" by him. You won't regret it! That's all! I love you all! Keep focusing on Christ and looking for those miracles!
God is so very good!

The hardest thing I've ever loved to do

God is a loving Heavenly Father. The first principle we teach as missionaries.  A simple statement, but one that has changed my life.  God...
