Bathtism? 🛁

I honesty agree with the subject above, why don't we call it bathtism?

Stephanie =🛁tism
We had such a fire lesson/miracle this week with our fav fam ever! We have been teaching Aida and her three girls for a little while now. They have been progressing well and are doing so good! We talked about baptism and asked sweet Steph what she thought, and she said "bathtism? I wanna be bathtized on March 1st" it was so sweet and funny! We put them on date for March 30!! Woot woot! We are so hyped! Keep Aida, Stephanie, and Michelle in your prayers! Little 5-year-old Aruna also wants to be baptized and would probably jump in the font if she could! I am so so excited for the Gonzalez fam! They gettin bathtized!
Jesus is a God of milagros!
Wow this was super cool! Way back when I was in Temecula, we were teaching a woman named Vivi and her daughter Susy and her granddaughter! It was great but then some stiff happened and we had to put them back in the Lords hands for a little bit. Welp, I left Temecula and a few transfers later I'm here. We're just doing our thing when the Elders in Temecula send us a number and say a woman named Viviana wants to meet with missionaries in Ontario because she's moving here. So I give her a call and lo and behold it was my bestie Vivi on the other side of the call. She recognized my voice and my name as hna b and started to cry. She's going through it right now and said she felt a little less alone being able to talk to me and I honestly kinda felt the same. I am so excited to teach Vivi again! Maybe she's ready now? Who knows!?
Facebook fast
Soo as a mission we will be doing a Facebook fast for the next three weeks. I was super excited until I got the call that I will be one of 10 missionaries who will still have Facebook so I can do some things to help us find more people. So basically, you will no longer see posts and stories from me. I work behind the scenes working on ads for the mission. So, bye bye Facebook!
Hna Clavel
We had a super good member dinner this week with one of my faves, hermana Clavel. She is so funny and sassy, and I love her. We were talking about her motto that she has stuck with for a long time. It is "do good willingly, lovingly, and humbly". She talked about how it first just used to be "do good" until more things started to come to her and how different it is now. I love the first part with the word "willingly". How willing are we to do good? I invite you to think about that and ask yourself how willing you truly are to do good.
Pues that's all from me!
God I good!
Jesus loves you!

Hombre sin nombre

This week was a little silly! Lots of little love notes from God that I really needed.

Hombre sin nombre
Ya so a homeless dude came up and talked to us and was going on and on about the second coming. He was nice and when I asked him what his name was, he said "hombre sin nombre" which translates to man without name. He was a little odd, but I remember saying a prayer in my head pleading that Heavenly Father would allow me to see this man the way He does. Something I've learned so much on my mission is that when we pray to see others the way Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ do, it makes it a little easier to see the good in ourselves too. We've taught the two great commandments a lot this week. And something I think we miss a lot is in the second great commandment "Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself". Hmm as thyself. Sometimes that's the hardest part. We need to LOVE ourselves in order to love others too! I've learned a lot about that out here. Seeing not only myself but others the way God does. YOU are a loved daughter or son of an all-loving God. Don't forget it. And if you have, let's talk:)
Love notes
This week has been hard. Grief is a sucky sucky thing and sometimes it comes out of nowhere. I was having a really hard day, feeling sad and feeling the achy pains of my heart. I just wanted to cry and bury myself in my blankets, but it doesn't work like that. We were out stopping by lots of friends and tracting, all the things. And all I wanted was some elote but it was getting dark and the elote men go when it gets dark. So, I knew it wouldn't happen. So silly, I know, I was sad about elote. So we go do one more stop by and then all of the sudden, I hear the little horn honks of the elote man. I was HYPED! I got out and was little so excited I told this man that he was a miracle and gave him a book of Mormon. It was so fun. I got in the car and just felt the love from Heavenly Father so much like my angels were giving me a hug. God has a silly way of telling us he loves us sometimes, but I don't mind. That elote made my day and the best way to eat it is when it gets all up in your nose and all over your face so pic below.
My people
Saturday night all the Spanish wards in the CRM had a multicultural night. All the Spanish wards got together and if the missionaries had friends go, they got to go too! So, we got 8 people there and went! I got to see everyone! All my people from Hemet to Corona to Temecula and my heart was so happy. Tears were flowing from me and my amigos! I went home just feeling so grateful for the incredible people i have been able to meet and the relationships I've been able to create here. I LOVE the Latino culture. It will always have a huge piece of my heart. Seeing my people made me the happiest Hermana ever!
Wow. God is good.

Close call

How does one get food poisoning and cut their finger open in the same week? I honestly don't know but aquí estoy!

I LOVE member dinners and this week a member took us out to a yummy Mexican restaurant. It was great!! We got home that night and wow I was so sick! Juanitas 111 did not do me good. So that was fun. Next day I'm getting a glass out of the cubbard, and due to the lack of height I couldn't reach, and a glass fell and I cut my finger open. Good times! Almost went to the ER, definitely a close call.
Josefina
A few weeks ago, the Chinese elders found a sweet Spanish speaking lady and passed her info off to us. It was tricky to get in contact with her, we called, texted, stooped by, etc. and we didn't get much. So we texted her one day and she said she was going to come to church on Sunday. We were like "ok, but you could also come to our Valentine's activity Saturday night!" Homegirl pulled up to both! We talked to her after church and were like, "Well, what did you think?" She told us how she wants to bring her whole family and to learn more with us! It was so cool!
Referrals
Our ward is popping off here with sending us referrals! Our member friend Eduardo told us about his family who is going through a really rough time right now and asked if we would go by and share the plan of Salvation. We set up a time and went by. 2 out of the 7 people in the house were members. We had a very spiritual lesson with them and invited them to baptism! It was sick! We set expectations to meet with us weekly!
This area is so good! These friends are so good! I'm so grateful! Didn't have much time for more today!
God is good!
Jesus loves you!!

The hardest thing I've ever loved to do

God is a loving Heavenly Father. The first principle we teach as missionaries.  A simple statement, but one that has changed my life.  God...
