I'm claustrophobic in this place bruh

 HOLA!

Oh my gosh I leave in 6 days for cali and the SUN!! This sunshine girl needs some sunshine! ☀️
Mis compañeras y yo somos stls!!
Ok in English that basically means that me and my companions are sister training leaders which is so fun! I'm like a big sister in the mish too not just real life I guess.
Language
The language is good, It's coming, and the gift of tongues has been present for sure! We got to teach another lesson in spanish and it went SO GOOD. I testified and prayed in perfect spanish and shared a personal story so yk kinda a flex.
Spiritual
Sooo last week me and my companions were chosen to share our conversion stories and why we decided to serve missions to some tour groups and wow it was so amazing. Being able to share my why and my love for this gospel just reassured me that I'm exactly where I need to be doing exactly what I need to be doing.
Last night we got to hear from a member of the seventy, Elder Yamashita. He was so awesome. He was so personal and personable. I felt like he was talking directly to me. In his message he shared the doctrine of Christ, which is
Faith
Repentance
Baptism
Receiving the gift of the holy ghost
And enduring to the end
After he spoke of these important steps to eternal life he asked a question that stuck out to me. He said "is it enough?" It kinda hit me hard because my immediate response was YES! IT IS ENOUGH! The gospel of Jesus Christ is the key to eternal joy and happiness! I hope you all know that this gospel is more than enough. Without it, we would be so lost. I encourage you all to think about why it's enough for you and how this gospel has brought joy into your life. I invite you to think about what you're grateful for because what better time than THANKSGIVING!
I love you all so so much! Eat so much turkey for me!!

I can't get "jesús es mi luz" out of my head!

 ¡Hola! ¿Cómo están todos?

Wow 2 weeks in the MTC say whattttt!!! Tbh I don't even know where to start lol! I still love being a missionary!!
Language!
Sooo the Spanish is coming along slowly still but I'm loving it. I had a cool experience in our first lesson in Spanish where I bore my testimony of Jesus Christ and the power of prayer, and the gift of tongues carried me through haha it was super cool, and the spirit was so strong. The gift of tongues is super cool and something that I have a strong testimony of! As far as that first lesson In Spanish, holy cow it went SO GOOD!! My companions and I came out of it with the biggest smiles because we felt the spirit and knew what we were teaching was so true! The power of prayer is so so important! I love teaching it!!
Friends!!
I love my friends here at the MTC although it's sad to see some of them go:( they will be so amazing though I know it! I'm so proud of them!! And I love meeting new friends weekly as the new missionaries come in so that's so awesome!! Just am kinda really excited for the day that I get to be the one that leaves for Cali
SPIRITUAL
What a week of spiritual experiences, last Tuesday we got to hear from THE ELDER BEDNAR!! LITERALLY THE BEST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!! Some scriptures that have helped me this week
John 15:4-5
1 Nephi 14:14
Colossians 2:6-7
I love these scriptures because they emphasize how important it is to be one with Christ which Elder Bednar really emphasized in his devotional. He also brought up a great thought about missionary service and that is "ASK, Seek, and Knock. The holy ghost will do the rest and will be the teacher if you seek with your mind and heart". I love this because it is so true!! THIS IS WHAT BEING A MISSIONARY IS!!! okok moving on, last night, we got to hear from Sister Dennis who is the 1st counselor in the general relief society. She talked a lot about knowing the true and how "the truth of knowing who you are when you are tempted, will rescue you" I love this because Satan is trying really hard to tempt us but as long as we know our value and know we are true children of God and disciples of Jesus Christ, we will be rescued.
ok so that's all for this week. Love you all so much!!

Week 1 in the MTC- I apparently give off "hot soccer mom vibes"

Hola amigos y familia!! Hope all is well!!

To start off I'll explain the uh subject above! So one of the first days here we were sitting at lunch as a district and we were talking about what "vibes" each of us give off and so I asked when it was my turn and the response from precious elder hoagie was "hot soccer mom vibes" so there we go I guess haha! Anyways so far I have absolutely loved being a missionary!! Saying bye sucked but my companions and i are super close and our district is so fun in person! Love them all!!
Language
Spanish is hard!! But I'm getting the hang of it slowly... I have two awesome teachers who help me a lot but first day in spanish only was crazy! My comps and I  have our first teaching lesson In spanish on friday so wish us luck! It's getting easier as we go along but it's a lot for sure! I will say though that the gift of tongues is so real!!
Friends!
I have run into so many friends here at the mtc!! Including Elder Chamberlin, Elder Knight both elder Russell Carlson and elder Devin Carlson. And ft below is my like distant cousin Sister Adams who I didn't know was my cousin until we pulled up family tree haha! And ft Elder Bawden and our earth pic haha! Anyways so ya lots of friends.
AlSO BIRTHDAY SHOUTOUT TO MY BEAUTIFUL SIS ELLIE RUTHIE!!! Even tho it was yesterday... THE BIG 16!! Woot woot! RIP my car tho tbh haha jk I love you!!
Cool experience
To be honest I've been a pretty dang happy missionary! The spirit here is amazing and I've already learned so much about myself! I've learned what I'm good at and what I need to work on and the best part is, I'm still learning!! I say this because Saturday was rough, I was really struggling with having confidence in myself as a missionary and trying to learn the language along with some homesickness. I felt so low... I prayed and asked Heavenly Father what I should do and how I could be a better missionary and then fell asleep. The next morning was Sunday and Sundays in the MTC are like the best ever! I woke up feeling a little better but still not great, the spirit kept telling me I needed a priesthood blessing. I was nervous because for those of you who really know me, I don't like to ask for help. Finally I got enough courage to talk with my district and ask my district leader if he would give me a priesthood blessing later that evening. IT WAS THE COOLEST EXPIERENCE EVER. ELDER GEORGE ROCKS! I have never felt the spirit so strongly besides being in the temple, after he ended the blessing I felt this weight just lift off of my shoulders and I just couldn't help but cry because I was so grateful. It was even Elder George's first blessing and he did so good. With this, I encourage you all to ask for help when you need it. Whether it be to your bishop, heavenly father, parents, etc. ASK! It truly will bless you.
That's all for this week. I love you all!

The hardest thing I've ever loved to do

God is a loving Heavenly Father. The first principle we teach as missionaries.  A simple statement, but one that has changed my life.  God...
