Bed bugs? Sink overflow?

 Moral of the story our apartment is falling apart.

Woke up a few days ago to some bites along with my comp and her bites. We were a bit concerned and were told it could be bed bugs but turns out it's just ants (not that that is really any better) but ya so that was really good and then our sink started to overflow the same day so it was a big hot mess and I was a bit stressed because we were trying to get going on our day. We had planned a busy day and I felt very unproductive and then realized that it was all Satan trying to keep us from the work. He's been trying a lot lately but as we've pushed through, we've seen some very cool miracles! And don't worry, our apartment is fine now. 

Milagro 

This past week we were asked by some English elders in our zone if we would be able to translate the restoration at their friends baptism because their friends getting baptized had only spanish speaking family members. Of course we said yes! Side note: I do be throwing my trainee into the fire but she's okay. Anyways so we are getting ready for this baptism and the spirit tells me we need to invite our friend Carlos. For those of you who actually read my emails you'll know Carlos is the GOAT and is my absolute favorite! So we ring him up and he says he'll be able to come so we are like so excited and say a prayer on our way that he will be able to make it in time. I was such a nervous wreck cuz I wanted him to be there so bad and I was pacing in the back. The friends got baptized and I was so sad cuz Carlos hadn't come yet but I had to go translate so I said a prayer and started to teach the restoration. Within maybe 2 minutes of teaching and leading right up to the first vision, Carlos walked in. My comp told me I had the biggest smile on my face as I gave the first vision. The spirit was so strong and I knew that Carlos was meant to come at the time he did. God was in the details the whole time leading up to that moment. After, we got to show Carlos the font. I think he will be progressing to that point soon. Miracles are out there! If you can't see his hand, look for his fingerprints! He is in the details.

Why did the rooster cross the road? To find Martin. Who is Martin?

 Ya I'm just as confused as you. Basically we were driving one day and saw a rooster cross the road. No, not a chicken, a rooster. This rooster was crossing the road as we were trying to stop by some friends and we saw that we had a stop by with our friend Martin. There was no address just a dropped pin and no phone number. So we're trying to remember and figure out who this Martin is. So we drive to the dropped pin and don't remember what the street is and when we were there so you know Martin is out there somewhere and we'll find him someday. 

I became a mamá 

Ya so I am now a trainer and jeez it's so hard! I'm learning so much!! And I had a moment this week where I felt so inadequate, I went to my knees and then to my scriptures and read in Alma 26:12. It hit me hard. I am weak without Jesus Christ and my Heavenly Father. I cannot do this without them. I'm learning so much and I'm grateful for this time in my mission. I've already seen myself grow a lot. I love my mija! Hermana Larsen rocks!

Milagro

This was super cool! We went to stop by a friend this week and as we were walking up to the door the neighbor walked out and said "they're not home" we said "oh okay thank you!" And then he asked "But what are you doing?" Oh man a missionaries favorite question. We ended up talking to this man named John. He spoke English and had a ton of questions. I could feel the love that Jesus Christ had for him! He had a lot of questions and just wanted to know the truth. We testified of the Book of Mormon and he said to me "Do you always smile like that?" Ha I felt a little funny and realized that I am so happy when I testify of the Book of Mormon and my Savior. John is amazing! He is now meeting with the English elders and will do amazing things! I have so much faith in him! 

Jesus Christ is real and he lives! He knows our needs and our struggles and I've really seen that this week! I love my Savior! 

God is good!
