Este muchacho

Wow back at it again 4 days later! Literally so much happened! But we'll start with my uh subject up top.

Raul.
So Friday we got cancelled on for our lesson and then our back up fell through too so we were walking down the street when this guy was just on his phone standing in the middle of the sidewalk so we just walked right up to him. His name is Raul and he's really cool! We talked about our missionary purpose and invited him to church. He said he'd be there. We had faith that he would but that doesn't usually happen. So we gave him our card and got his number and left. Didn't hear from him after that and sent him some texts. But as we were going to church we get a call with a number we don't recognize. It was RAUL saying he was walking to church but wasn't sure where it was. So we tried to explain but explaining directions to Latinos is like rocket science for real so we told him we were on our way and would look for him on the road. We couldn't find him. Got to the church and called him. Right as he picked up, we got a text from our Obispo (bishop) that "Raul is here?" UH MIRACLE! it was so cool. He could only stay through sacrament but it was so cool until. We get another call from Raul. He was definitely not there if your puttin up what I'm putting down and proceeded to tell me I was his amiga. We'll see what happens. Este muchacho...
New videos comin...
Ok so if you don't follow our California Riverside Mission come unto christ page on Facebook, do it now. As well as the Venir A Cristo page. You might recognize an Hermana B in some new videos soon👀 I also just got put on our ads team so that's awesome! It's so amazing how there is so much missionary work to do via technology! I've seen so many miracles from it! As well as some sketchy stuff but that's also just the mission life. Anyways I was able to be filmed in 2 videos this past week! One for inviting people unto Christ! It's super cool and we're hoping we get some success! The other is of our awesome senior couple (the Lundeens) telling there conversion story and I play sister Lundeen when she was younger! Super fun! Didn't think I'd ve doin this on my mission that's for sure!
Bautismos!!
Woooot! Patty and Xochitl got baptized yesterday! It was such a sweet day and I just love those two so much! I remember going over the interview questions with Xochitl this past week before her actual interview and asked he who the Holy Ghost was and she said "my permanent hug duh" it was the sweetest answer ever. It made me think a lot about the power of the Spirit and how lucky we are to have it. Follow it, learn from it, love it. He is our ultimate guide and our permanent hug! Patty and Xochitl looked so cute in white and are the newest members of the Del Rey ward!
Milagro!
Ok so my poor compa had to go to the doctor this week unexpectedly. So we drove to Riverside and don't worry she's doing good now. But as we were walking into the Doctor we ran into our friend Krsitina READING HER BOOK OF MORMON! JAW DROPPED. It was super super cool! We went up to her and said hi and it was super cool and no thats not all! After we were walking out of our exam room and the Doctor (who is a member) said to talk to his nurse about a word of wisdom problem. We were like uh ok and it was super awkward cuz she was in with a patient and then came out and we got to teach 4 nurses about the word of wisdom! It was such a miracle filled day in the doctors office! I have such a strong testimony of "teach when you find and find when you teach" its something my mission President always says and it brings forth many miracles!
Well! I love you all! Please pray for our friend Oscar! He is on Baptismal date for this Sunday! Your prayers really do help!
God is so good!

SIX MONTHS SAY WHATTTT

It doesn't even feel real. I still feel like a brand new missionary. But hey I love what I do and there's nowhere else I'd rather be. Also today is my pday! We had the opportunity to go to the San Diego temple as a mission today and it was incredible! I feel so lucky and blessed. Next week we'll be back on the Monday schedule tho!

This week was crazy!! We are still so busy!! We had to move our baptism back a week but that's okay! As of now, Patty and Xochitl are getting baptized this sunday!! Woot woot! I'm so excited! The past 9 days have felt very long but so good. We are running between lessons at this point and have 6 people on date which is so awesome!
Exchange miracle!
So I got to go on exchanges with my favorite roommate, sister zilles, and she came to spanish land for the day! We had 3 lessons and she was awesome trying to understand and be present in the lessons although she didn't speak Spanish. We were able to teach our friend Leonora and as we were planning the lesson the spirit told me to teach the Plan of Salvation so that's what we went in with. Because my companion didn't speak Spanish, I taught the whole plan of Salvation and I have never had the gift of tongues so present as I was teaching it was so cool! I was so worried I wouldn't be able to do it before the lesson and pleaded with Heavenly Father to help me speak with the spirit. We were able to put Leonora on date and the spirit was so strong we all teared up. And at the end my awesome English companion bore her very simple testimony in perfect spanish. It was amazing. The gift of tongues is real. I have a strong testimony of it after that experience and Leonora will look so good in white!
Time flies when you're having fun!!
Wow crazy. Six months in my mission! Slowest/fastest six months of my life!! I have grown in ways that I didn't think were possible and I've learned how to fully rely on the spirit. I have seen how this gospel changes people. I have seen that light in their eyes once they know this gospel is true. I have seen the love that Heavenly Father has for each of his children. I have experienced the mercy and grace of Jesus Christ. I have changed so much in such a small amount of time and I'm so excited to see what more I can do! This work is hard, there are days where I want to crawl in bed and cry, there have been multiple times where I've had nowhere to go but my knees in complete heartbreak because I've felt so inadequate. But every single time, the Savior has picked me up and has helped me to serve another day. He is my best friend. I'm here because I love him and because I know he gave his life for me. And since he gave his entire life for me, I can give him one more year. I love him, he is all loving and all knowing. Turn to him.
Alright I've worked for 9 days straight as a missionary and I'm exhausted to the MAX.
Love you all!
Jesus Chris is love!

The hardest thing I've ever loved to do

God is a loving Heavenly Father. The first principle we teach as missionaries.  A simple statement, but one that has changed my life.  God...
