Gracee's Mission Adventures: La cucaracha la cucaracha get out of our bathtub!

Welp anotha week! Hola hola! It's getting real warm here in sunny cali and that means la cucarachas are coming out to party. Hermana b is not a fan. Hermana b stood on the couch cuz she doesn't do bugs yucky yuck yuck. Luckily my dad has experience with these nasty little things so we will be getting the tape out and sticking it on our floor. I'll let yall know if we have any success. Onto the week!!

Social media milagro!

Ok so last week I told yall about how my comp and I are going to be in a new ad for our page. We had a cool miracle happen because of this. So it started when we were stopping by a friend who lived across from a park and when he didn't answer we were walking back to our car when there was this guy and his dog. So you know since I love dogs and I love teaching the gospel it was a PERFECTO opportunity. We ended up meeting Abraham and his cutie dog Max. He was very nice and said he had talked to missionaries in the past but had some confusion and is attending a church now. So we offered him our card with our number and invited him to read his book of mormon and were on our way. Then a day or two later, our new ad video came out on our come unto christ page and ABRAHAM SAW IT AND COMMENTED! We are now in contact with him and are going to start teaching him again!!! Oh my goodness I had straight goosebumps when we got a text with the screenshot it was so amazing. Social media is the effectual door for missionary work!! I invite you all to spread the light of Christ on social media this week!! This miracle has strengthened my testimony so much on how the Lord is continuing his work no matter what the world does.

Bautismo!!

Ahhh Oscar was baptized yesterday! Yall I can't even express the gratitude I feel for being able to witness this baptism. We've been teaching Oscar for a month and the change and the growth I've seen in him is truly inspiring. His countenance is different and he is a brighter human! I remember meeting him for the first time and he was very shy and closed off and kinda just went with what we said but as we prayed for inspiration on how to best teach him and thanks to our amazing fellowship he was able to really open up and trust in the Lord. Ah it has been amazing. I felt the love of God for him so much today! He is incredible. Super grateful to have witnessed the change in him through Jesus Christ.

Miracle meeting.

Every Sunday night we have a zoom miracle meeting as a mission where a handful of missionaries share a miracle they saw from the week and I love it! Miracles our out there!! Lots of temple miracles and something my President said really touched me and I wanted to share. He said "If you focus on the temple, everything else will improve". If you are struggling, if you need peace, if you need to feel the love of Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father, GO. Go to the temple. Have it be your focus! Always strive to be worthy to enter. I promise as you focus on the temple, you will be able to feel more peace in your life. The Prophet has promised us this too and he has invited us to spend more time in the temple as well! So I challenge you to make time this new month to find a time to go.
