Gracee's Mission Adventures: When you get left in the house alone?

This week was crazy! So many funny things and crazy experiences this week! But to start off, we haven't seen any cucarachas so that's a W. But we got left in a house alone so that was an awkward L.

Story time

Ok so we go to a friends house to stop by and he's chillin outside kicking his soccer ball when we realize it's him and talk to him, he tells us we can go to his house and that his sister was there so it would be okay, so we walk with him to his house and right as he opens the door a little rat dog comes out, it looked like it was going to bite my head or my ankles off, it zoomed out the door and our friend chased after it. Meanwhile we get invited into the house by the sister and she gets us chairs and then goes into her room and shuts the door so we're just chillin in there and there she doesn't come back for like 10 minutes and then there's a knock on the door so we think it's the brother when it's this Latina lady and she looks SO confused and says she'll come back later so we awkwardly try to explain what's going on when the sister shows up and talks to the lady and ends up shutting the door leaving us in this house, alone. We have no idea where the brother is and we're just hanging out and decide to just leave. It was so funny and awkward and it smelled like so much Fabuloso.

Milagro

Ok so last week I talked about the effectual door of social media work and the miracles that come from it. Well we had another really cool miracle! So we were cold messaging some people and I messaged this guy named Elvin we started chopping it up when he randomly calls me and I'm like uh oh no cuz men are gross no offense so I say a quick prayer and feel good about answering. We talked a little bit and shared our missionary purpose! He was so interested! He lives in Moreno Valley so we knew we needed to pass him off to the elders there so we set up a time the day after to have a pass off lesson over the phone. Fast forward to us on the phone in our pass off lesson and the elders did so good! They PUT HIM ON DATE!! HE COMMITED TO CHURCH AND BAPTISM! Literally so cool! The Lord is hastening his work through social media. You can knock 10x as many doors over social media than knocking in person. Miracles are out there!

Keeping it kinda short cuz I really don't remember much from this week! It was a blurrr! But I know Jesus Christ lives! I know that we are here for a reason and I know that true joy comes from the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

God is so good!
