Merry Christmas!! It's crazy to think this is my second Christmas on the mission. We have been very blessed with so many sweet gifts from members and even friends!
I've been thinking a lot about light this Christmas and its meaning at this time of the year. Jesus Christ really is the light of the world, I see it every single day. We had the opportunity to go caroling Christmas eve. We knocked so many doors with 14 missionaries! It was so cool to see people's faces light up when they would open the door. One family let us all in for Christmas tamales, so we spent some time with them! We didn't even know them, but they were so sweet, and we got to sing lots of songs for them. One house we knocked the sweetest little family opened and the little girl was so excited she covered her mouth and jumped around. My heart was so full, and I got to see the light of Jesus Christ all night long. I love that Christ brings others together. I never want to take Christ out of Christmas because it is all about Him, but it doesn't stop there. He is the reason for every season, and we need to remember Him always. I love Him and I know Him. I know he was born on that humble night in Bethlehem to bring us salvation and exaltation what a beautiful thing. I am forever thankful for my Savior.
